According to department announcements, two Dallas Police Department officers were taken into custody over the weekend on separate intoxication-related offenses.
We know:
On January 25, Dallas police arrested Officer Isaac Burton for the Class C misdemeanor of public intoxication. Burton, who works in the Community Operations Division, joined the agency in July 2019.
On January 26, Dallas Police Call Analyst Evelyn Keith was taken into custody by Mesquite police for committing a Class B misdemeanor—driving under the influence. Keith has been assigned to the Communications Division since joining the department in November 2023.
After posting a $1000 bond, Keith was freed.

Keith and Burton have both been put on administrative leave while an internal inquiry is conducted.
