GRAPEVINE, Texas:According to Grapevine Police, a former Lewisville ISD teacher has been taken into custody and charged with child sexual abuse and having an inappropriate interaction with a kid.

On Friday, December 13, Alainee Simonson, 29, of Grapevine, was taken into custody.

According to investigators, Simonson is charged with committing the crimes between 2022 and 2023 while working as a district teacher. The victim was a Killough High School student. According to investigators, there is no proof that there are any more victims.

In this ongoing investigation, Grapevine Police and school authorities are still cooperating.

Parents are urged to contact the police if they suspect their child of becoming a victim.
