DALLAS—A Dallas police officer was hospitalized early Sunday morning after being struck head-on by a suspected intoxicated motorist.

We know:
A green 2017 Honda HRV was traveling north in the southbound lanes of the N. Central Expressway when Dallas police received several 911 calls just before five in the morning.
The HRV was struck by a 2020 Dodge Charger driven by an officer who was heading south close to Park Lane.
Kalisa Bienvenue, 22, the driver of the HRV, and the officer were both transported to the hospital with minor wounds.
Bienvenue was accused of driving under the influence.
