Cleveland, Texas:For information that leads to the indictment of the burglars who broke into a business in Cleburne and stole thousands of dollars, a $10,000 prize is being offered.
It might not be their first theft, according to investigators.
In an effort to identify the suspect in this week’s trackdown, Cleburne police are collaborating with a private investigator.
We know:
The Super Garcia Meat Market on Highway 67 in Cleburne was broken into on October 6 at around midnight.
Someone or someones broke into the company and took thousands of dollars.
“He didn’t cause much of an interruption in the office. Catherine Smit-Torrez, a private investigator working on the case, said, “It appeared that he knew where to look, where they had stored the money.” “Since this has happened, this store owner has brushed up his security severely and will no longer be storing money at any of these stores that they have.”
The main suspect spent almost forty-five minutes inside the store. Images of him and his 2014 Ford Focus were clearly captured by surveillance cameras.
Police-PI Partnership
Direct collaboration between Smit-Torrez and the Cleburne Police Department is underway. She served as the chief of the Cockrell Hill Police Department for four years prior to becoming a PI.
“A lot of police officers are not as willing to work with private investigators,” she stated. However, we all understand—especially me, having worked in law enforcement for years—that they don’t have endless time to devote to every case. Therefore, we may collaborate closely with someone who can afford to engage a private investigator and provide them with the information we collect.”
