Her mother, Josephine Baribe, told FOX 4 on Monday, “It’s so painful to us.”

Victoria has damage to her neck, ribs, liver, lungs, and more. She is in a wheelchair and can hardly move or speak.

“That was a nightmare to my life for my daughter to have to go through that,” said Josephine.

Mahey Mohammed, 18, was charged by the Wylie Police Department with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to the department, he acknowledged operating the Charger that collided with Victoria.

According to police, Victoria’s younger brother, a wide receiver at Wylie East High, was confronted by Mohammed and three other passengers, all of whom were Wylie High School students.

Police are looking into allegations that the altercation may have been sparked by a football game between Wylie East and Wylie High, which Wylie East won three days prior to the accident.
