Tuesday night, the tallest live Christmas tree in Texas will be lit in Fort Worth’s Sundance Square.
The 82-foot Norway Spruce from Cadillac, Michigan, is 52 feet taller than the White House National Christmas tree and 8 feet taller than the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in New York City.
More than 100 local artists have painted the ornaments by hand. The diameter of each decoration exceeds two feet.
The 78th annual Fort Worth Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled for 2024.
