On New Year’s Eve, there was a tremendous show in Downtown Dallas.
To commemorate the start of 2025, thousands of fireworks were fired from Reunion Tower.
This year, there won’t be a drone exhibition. Dallas’ annual drone event was canceled “out of an abundance of caution” after a boy was hurt during an Orlando drone exhibition, according to the business that organizes it.

Free Rides on NYE in Dallas
Up to and including the CentrePort rail station, free rides will be available via the DART bus, rail, TRE commuter rail service, GoLink, and paratransit service routes.
Starting at 6 p.m., the free trips will run until the end of service.
