Two dead after suspected red-light crash in Grand Prairie

Grand PrairiePolice in Grand Prairie say a vehicle crossed a red light on a service road, resulting in a car crash that killed two individuals early Monday morning.

We know:

Around four in the morning, a collision happened near the junction of the westbound IH-30 service road and the North Highway 161 service road.

A Nissan passenger car was moving west on the IH-30 service road when the driver blew a red light and struck a Dodge pickup truck that was going south on the Highway 161 service road, according to the police.

At the site, both drivers were declared deceased. Neither car carried any passengers.

The drivers’ names are still under wraps. Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
