Texas’s KarnackAccording to county officials, Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputies shot a guy who was allegedly carrying a pistol when he broke into a house on Monday night.

Shortly after seven o’clock in the evening, a cop was shot and killed. A man was attempting to enter a home in the 2500 block of Pine Island Road near Karnack, Texas, when Harrison County dispatch received a 911 call.

Karnack is located northeast of Marshall, Texas, in East Texas.

The 911 caller reported that the man entered the house with a gun while deputies were en route. Before deputies came, everyone inside the house managed to flee to a neighbor’s house.

The man brandished a gun at deputies while he was out on the front porch during the inquiry. The man was shot by deputies who opened fire on him.

Until first responders arrived, medical assistance was given right away.

For medical attention, the man was brought to the hospital.

The Ranger Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety has been requested to look into the shooting that involved an officer. The probe is still ongoing.
