Texas’ ArlingtonTonight, the Ohio State Buckeyes and Texas Longhorns will square off for a trip to the National Championship.
AT&T Stadium in Arlington will host the Cotton Bowl Classic, which begins at 6:30 p.m.
Additionally, Texas stated that no one should rule the Longhorns out, even if Ohio State is the clear favorite to win.
Both teams have a strong desire to win.
It has been 20 years since the Longhorns attended the title game. With quarterback Vince Young, they won their most recent championship in 2005.
The Buckeyes believe they have unresolved business in Arlington, even if Ohio State’s last championship was ten years ago.
They lost to Missouri 14-3 in the Cotton Bowl last season at AT&T Stadium.

“Everyone in this room would probably agree that they are the team with the best chance of winning the game if I polled them. And it’s alright. Football is that. Sport is that. Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian stated, “That’s why we have to do what we do.”
“The bottom line is that this game will be played, and the team that performs and plays the best will win. Many people have different ideas about what they think everyone should expect, but in the end, it will depend on the players and their performance,” Ohio State head coach Ryan Day stated.

Cotton Bowl Weather
Before the clouds clear, North Texas may have a few more hours of sporadic drizzle and snow flurries, according to meteorologist Evan Andrews. It should be dry during the weekend.
Organizers decided not to move the game in spite of a winter storm in North Texas.
The roadways around AT&T Stadium are safe for driving, according to the Texas Department of Transportation and the city of Arlington.
According to a TxDOT representative, its workers have been out repairing the roadways around-the-clock. To assist with Cotton Bowl activities, more staff from throughout the state have also been called up to North Texas.
However, due to aircraft delays and cancellations, some fans who traveled into North Texas to attend AT&T Stadium would have to make a last-minute dash.
By Friday evening, pregame temps should be in the mid-30s and the sky should be clear. Temperatures are predicted to fall below 30 degrees after the game.
Early Saturday morning could see the start of an overnight freeze. Driving safely is therefore advised for everyone who intends to remain out late.
