The Idaho State Police (ISP) is excited to announce our latest addition to the patrol fleet, the 2024 Ford Mustang GT. This high-performance vehicle is designed to enhance our ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring the safety and protection of our community.
The Mustang GT boasts a powerful engine and advanced handling capabilities, making it an excellent choice for law enforcement. Its modern safety features and robust build provide a high level of security for troopers and the public.
We are proud to have entered our new Mustang in the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) America’s Best-Looking Cruiser Contest. This annual competition allows the public to vote for their favorite state police or highway patrol vehicle from across the nation. We invite our community, supporters, and all Idahoans to cast their votes and help us win the title of America’s Best-Looking Cruiser for 2025!

Winners
The winner of the contest will be awarded the “Best Looking Cruiser Award” and will be featured on the cover of the AAST’s “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2025 Wall Calendar.” These calendars will be available for purchase on www.statetroopers.org starting October 1, 2024, with sales benefiting educational scholarships for dependents of member troopers.
