The chase may have begun Wednesday afternoon when state troopers received a report regarding a stolen tractor trailer in Garland, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The driver of the vehicle refused to stop when troopers attempted to pull it over.

The suspect traveled through Dallas, Arlington, and Fort Worth while traveling west on Interstate 30. Later, he stopped close to McPherson Road on the Chisholm Trail Parkway after turning south.

SKY 4 images showed troopers holding a suspect without a shirt.

He was recognized by DPS as Jeffery Harris, a resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, who is 28 years old.

He was booked into the Tarrant County jail after being detained for using a motor vehicle without permission.

Spike strips gave the impression that the stolen truck had a flat tire.

No one was harmed during the pursuit, and there was no more damage.

What is unknown to us:

The mugshot of Harris has not yet been made public.

When and when the truck was reported stolen was not disclosed by DPS.
