Texas’ ArlingtonPolice are still looking for a second suspect after a robbery at a store in Arlington that resulted in gunfire between the police and another suspect.
A woman who works at a nearby restaurant told FOX 4 that she thinks the suspect who fled the scene attempted to enter the establishment.

The backstory
At 6:45 p.m. on Friday, Arlington police received a 9-1-1 call.
The caller reported to authorities that they had witnessed two armed individuals entering the CashMax store on Pioneer Parkway while they were passing by.
Arlington robbery suspect arrested after shootout with police
According to Arlington police, during the heist, workers inside the establishments had their hands and legs taped.
After arriving on the site, police surrounded the facility with a perimeter.
One man came out of the store and started fleeing while two officers were in the rear of the structure.
Another individual with a gun was seen by the police, and he began shooting at them. Both cops returned fire.
When they attempted to leave through the front entrance, they discovered more officers waiting for the suspect, who had fled back inside the building.

Kelvin Bivens, 37, was taken into custody and charged with one count of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated assault against a public worker.
The shooting did not injure Bivens or the cops.
According to Arlington police, a number of CashMax employees were not hurt despite having their hands and legs taped shut.
The CashMax is temporarily closed, according to a sign posted on the store’s window on Sunday.
Search for second suspect
The second suspect fled the scene, and Arlington police are still looking for him.

Ariana Hernandez, who works at a Mexican restaurant close to the CashMax business, claims she heard a knock at the rear door on Friday night, just after the gunfire.
She thinks the guy who fled was the suspect.
“For perhaps two or five seconds. Hernandez claimed that he was making a serious effort to enter the eatery. “”I was terribly afraid.”
Ten to fifteen patrons were inside the restaurant when the gunfire occurred, and they took refuge beneath tables.
“My goal was to ensure everyone’s safety. My main argument was to just keep everyone safe. Hernandez remarked, “I wasn’t thinking about myself; I was thinking about the people, the customers.”
She says the incident has been hard for her to digest and she hopes the second culprit gets apprehended quickly.
“I’m still really afraid. “I’m really, really scared if anything happens again,” Hernandez added.

On Monday at 10 a.m., Arlington police are scheduled to provide an update on the investigation.
