The Backstory: In January 2023, members of the Rockwall-Heath football team were punished with an extremely demanding workout, which is the subject of the complaint.
A bunch of football players were apparently made to perform a lot of pushups as a form of discipline for offenses such as allegedly breaking the clothing code and having a bad attitude, among other things. Players were required to complete 300 pushups in an hour without any breaks or drinks, according to a parent of a hospitalized youngster.
