Texas’s AddisonAfter shooting at policemen and wounding one of them, a guy was shot by police in Addison early on Tuesday morning.

We know:

Around 1:30 a.m., Addison and Farmers Branch police were looking into possible drug-related activities in the 4000 block of Belt Line Road. A car in a company parking lot was approached by officers who thought it might be related to the inquiry.

A man opened fire on officers after they requested him to exit the car. Officers shot back, hitting the man.

After being brought to a nearby hospital, the suspect’s health is stable. After receiving treatment, a Farmers Branch officer who had minor injuries was also discharged from the hospital.

The shooting is still being investigated.
