DALLAS—A guy who entered a guilty plea to sexually assaulting a minor and then fled is being sought by the U.S. Marshals. It has been almost four years since they started looking for him.

Since 2021, the North Texas Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshal Service has been relentlessly looking for 31-year-old Joe Tarin.

Officer Andrew Dilbeck of the North Texas Fugitive Task Force stated, “January 2021 was the last time anybody contacted him that we have located.”

Timeline: In December 2020, Tarin entered a guilty plea to charges of child sexual assault and online solicitation of a minor.

While on bond awaiting sentencing in January 2021, he absconded.

Marshals have been looking all throughout the nation, but so yet they haven’t found any hair or hide.

Tarin appears to be back or remaining in the Dallas-Fort Worth area based on recent TikTok photos.

This is his hometown. He would have the resources or be able to hide here,” Officer Dilbeck stated. “Someone would have to assist him in this situation. On his own, he couldn’t [survive three years on the streets].

“I need anybody that s seen him to contact the U.S. Marshals,” stated Dilbeck.

“You are concealing a person you know who has harmed a child. That’s not acceptable,” he remarked. “Aid us. Assist us in advocating for the child.
