HURST, TexasAfter removing their firearms at Hurston’s North East Mall on Sunday, two suspects were taken into custody.

What We Know: After receiving reports that a firearm had been fired, officers were dispatched to the mall’s food court.

The mall was placed on lockdown when the officers requested backup.

It was eventually discovered by officers that no weapon was ever fired.

According to investigators, two individuals got into a verbal altercation and both of them pulled out firearms. There were no gunshots.

Officers arrested both men at various sites in the vicinity.

The two males may be charged with further offenses in addition to disorderly conduct.

The mall is now operating normally again.
