White balls 3, 7, 37, 49, and 55, along with the gold Mega Ball 6, are the winning numbers for December 27.
Mega Millions claims that one ticket from Cottonwood, California, won the estimated $1.22 billion reward after matching all six of the numbers chosen.

On Friday night, over 5.6 million tickets were won across all reward tiers, in addition to the jackpot winner. Two tickets were sold in California, and one each in Arizona, Missouri, and Texas. Five tickets matched the five white balls to win the second-tier prize in the game.

The Texas Lottery reports that the winning ticket worth $1 million was sold in Arlington.
The 7-Eleven located at 1315 N Collins Street is where the ticket was bought.
According to the Texas Lottery, 472,789 tickets sold in Texas resulted in some kind of prize, even if you didn’t win the grand jackpot.
Five tickets from Texas won prizes totaling $30,000.
When is the next Mega Millions drawing?
On Tuesday, December 31, the Mega Millions drawing will take place. The jackpot returns to the $20 million ($9 million cash) beginning value. No Mega Millions jackpot has ever been won on New Year’s Eve.
