In North Texas, the group is commemorating 90 years of providing community service.

After preparing traditional Thanksgiving dinners, almost 900 volunteers and Visiting Nurse Association team members went out to make someone’s holiday.

The VNA provides Meals on Wheels to Dallas seniors all year long, but Thursday was particularly memorable because of Thanksgiving.

Over 3,000 volunteers provided over a million home-delivered meals to Dallas County seniors last year.
