DALLAS—A guy who is suspected of shooting and murdering a lady in South Dallas early on Sunday morning is being sought by police.
Investigators were summoned to the Happy Family apartment complex in the 1300 block of South Fitzhugh Ave. shortly after 4 a.m. They discovered a shot woman inside a black sports car. After being brought to the hospital, the woman was declared dead.
According to investigators, a male approached two women—one standing outside the car and the other seated in the driver’s seat. Inside the car, there was some sort of conflict between the man and the woman. The man eventually shot the woman inside the car after pointing a gun at her.
The man fled the scene.
Police interviewed the second woman, who was unharmed in the shooting.
Officers searched the area for CCTV footage after crime scene specialists discovered several casings close to the car.
The investigation into the shooting is still underway, and the motive is unknown.
The deceased woman’s identity was kept a secret.
