Texas’s Fort WorthPolice in Fort Worth are searching for the person who killed a 62-year-old man in what may have been a road rage shooting.
We know:
A gray car was reported to police at approximately 7 p.m. on Monday for obstructing a northbound lane on Loop 820 just prior to the Meadowbrook exit.
When police arrived, they discovered Ricky Langs, 62, shot and unconscious in the driver’s seat. Later, a hospital declared him dead.
At first, Fort Worth police claimed they were looking into the murder as a potential case of road rage, but they later stated they were trying to find out exactly what happened before Lang died.

Police have not issued a description of the person or a description of the suspicious car.
What they’re saying:
According to family relatives, Langs complained about someone driving closely behind him on the phone just minutes before the shooting.
“And it’s just killing me, and I can’t just get over it,” Bobbie Wofford, his mother, said. And I am simply crying about it.
Family members are hoping that someone will come forward.
“Every minute of every second, people are driving. “They had to see something,” Shelby Johnson, the daughter, said.
“Somebody had to see something,” was Wofford’s statement. “Why would you murder someone without cause? “Why?”
