WYLIE, TexasA guy who allegedly sexually assaulted a resident of an assisted living facility has been taken into custody by Wylie Police.

According to the police, a visitor may have had intercourse with a resident at the Garnett Hill Rehabilitation and Skilled Care facility, which is why officers were summoned there.

A resident’s family member set up a security camera in their relative’s room and captured an unidentified male having sex with their relative’s roommate.

According to the police, the victim lacks the mental capacity to provide consent but is not regarded as elderly.

Dudley Hammond, a 58-year-old resident of Louisville, Kentucky, was recognized as the visitor.

The family took the victim out of the facility.

If Hammond came back, the institution was asked to call the police. They discovered through research that he will return on December 4.

After surveillance was established, Hammond was arrested on an indecent assault warrant when he arrived.

After that, he was accused of serious sexual assault.

Police don’t think there are any other victims, but Garnett Hills is looking into it internally.

Hammond is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday after being put into the Wylie Police Department jail. When this report was written, no bond had been established.
