On Christmas Day, a guy who was suspected of abducting a woman in Haltom City on Christmas Eve was taken into custody in Oklahoma City.

According to Haltom City police, a 22-year-old woman was seized at gunpoint from the Acacia Apartments on Denton Highway at approximately 4:45 a.m. on Christmas Eve as she was making her way to her car.
Before being driven to the Camden Apartments in Grapevine, authorities claimed Godoy had forced the woman into her car, threatened her repeatedly, and forced her to take money out of a bank.
The woman was temporarily restrained, according to the police, but she was able to get away and get assistance.
After escaping in the victim’s car, Godoy was apprehended by police on Christmas Day in Oklahoma City.
