Official oppression and sexual assault were the charges brought against Officer Filemon Perez. He was informed that he was going to be sacked, so earlier this month he resigned from the department.
The woman’s Lewisville apartment was the scene of the alleged attack on November 28 at around one in the morning.
According to the affidavit, the woman informed officers that after dinner, she and her buddy proceeded to a neighboring pub. She acknowledged having multiple drinks at the bar and wine at supper. She claims that after arguing with her buddy, she made the decision to go home less than half a mile away.
The woman paused on the front leasing office curb to rest after telling officers she was intoxicated and frequently stumbled on her way home.
According to the affidavit, the woman claimed that an officer came up to her and introduced himself as “Officer Charles,” asking whether she was alright.

After reporting the attack to 911, the woman informed the police that she wished to file charges.
“She knew not to shower or do anything else because she was a sexual assault victim before,” she told responding detectives, according to the arrest report.
After identifying Officer Perez in a photo lineup, the woman proceeded to the police station for a forensic examination.
