Texas’s Haltum CityPolice in Haltom City claim that a guy who is suspected of robbing a woman of her Christmas Eve apartment needed money and “seemed almost proud of what he did.”
What We Know: On Christmas Eve, a 22-year-old lady was heading to work from the Acacia Apartments in Haltom City.
According to the police, she was pushed into the backseat of her car and forced to withdraw cash from an ATM after being accosted by an armed man wearing a mask.
After driving her vehicle to Grapevine, the suspect abandoned the victim close to the Camden Apartments on Grapevine Mills Parkway and took off in her vehicle.
The woman was able to call the police and describe the armed attacker and her vehicle to them.

According to the arrest affidavits, Godoy spent an hour driving around with the woman and made threats to “prostitute her” or “sell her organs.”
She told police that she was afraid for her life because of the remarks.
According to the affidavits, Godoy tied the victim’s hands around a tree with her shoelace.
Detectives said his actions throughout the interview were what caught their attention, even though he admitted to the crimes and claimed he only needed the money.
Their Statement: “He smirked a lot, he giggled, and, you know, was almost proud of what he did,” stated Sgt. Rick Alexander of the Haltom City Police Department.
According to the police, Godoy had previously committed similar offenses, been arrested, and been sent back to Honduras.
“He says that all he is is a thief. Alexander remarked, “He wants money.” “But, you know, in this case, clearly he went beyond that and brought a firearm into it.”
Future Plans: Godoy is presently being detained in Oklahoma City jail on charges of numerous felonies and misdemeanors in the state of Oklahoma. In Haltom City, he is also charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping.
