On Tuesday night, there are big New Year’s Eve festivities at Reunion Tower in Dallas and Sundance Square in Fort Worth.
Ahead of tonight’s “largest in-person New Year’s Eve celebration in Texas” in Sundance Square, Fort Worth is getting ready.
Sundance Square New Year’s Eve
More than 40,000 people are anticipated to attend the enormous event in Sundance Square, which will feature live music, entertainment, food trucks, and a fireworks display.
“It will be enormous in Downtown. I can assure you that it will surpass last year in size. Gregory Newman, Sundance Square’s music director, declared, “It’s going to be absolutely amazing.” “This an amazing place where you can come downtown with your whole family, not many cities have something like this.”
The event is free.
Fireworks Show
The fireworks display this year will conclude with a panoramic vista, according to the organizers.
According to Newman, “it’s going to be all around us this year.” “Four separate building rooftops around Sundance Square will be displaying pyrotechnics. We only had them off of one last year, so this is a significant increase.

Security
Fort Worth’s Sundance Square is set to host a New Year’s Eve celebration that is anticipated to draw over 40,000 attendees.
Ed Krauss, a former Fort Worth police chief, serves as Sundance Square’s top security officer. Sundance Square is a private organization.
Several sheriff’s deputies and dozens of off-duty police officers will help ensure the safety of the anticipated 39,000 revelers.
Officers in civilian clothes and even law enforcement personnel positioned on roofs will be there.
“We do have overwatch on several of the buildings that the police department is leading the efforts on,” Krauss stated. “They re looking for any suspicious behavior somebody that s not fitting in, somebody whether it looks like they ve had too much to drink, or something more sinister or suspicious.”
A crucial link between the celebration and safety is the cooperation of Sundance Square, its own security, and the Fort Worth Police Department. Even after the fireworks are over, people will continue to keep an eye out, a Fort Worth Police Department spokeswoman says FOX 4.
“We’ll be out in full force for drunk driving as well. If you do want to drink this evening, we ask that you make plans in advance to designate someone as your driver or arrange for a ride-sharing service so that you can get home safely. We don’t want anyone to be wounded getting home or trying to get home,” said Fort Worth Police Sergeant Brad Perez.
