Fort Worth MLK parade postponed due to cold weather

Texas’s Fort WorthThe traditional MLK Day Parade in Fort Worth is being halted by the impending frigid air.

Due to weather concerns, the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Parade and Rally in Greater Fort Worth has been postponed.

Monday, January 20, was the initial date of the parade.

Temperatures are predicted to drop into the 20s that morning. It could feel significantly colder due to wind chills.

The 7th annual MLK Fort Worth Community Parade is still scheduled for this weekend. It starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
