Texas’s Fort WorthOn Friday afternoon, the Fort Worth Fire Department saved a family’s dog and extinguished a house fire.

We know:

Just after 5 p.m. on Friday, firefighters were dispatched to a residence on West Spurgeon Street in the south side of Fort Worth.

Teams discovered that the front of the house was heavily engulfed in flames when they arrived on the site.

Firefighters from Fort Worth discovered a dog inside the house while conducting search and rescue operations.

The dog received oxygen for around twenty minutes.

After a while, the animal’s condition improved and it was returned to its owner.

There were no human casualties related to the incident.

What is unknown to us:

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
