DALLAS-DallasFire-Rescue reports that an arson investigation is underway into the fire that destroyed a downtown music club.
The suspect escaped after being caught in the act, according to one of Jack’s House’s proprietors.

We know:
Co-owner Willie Trimmer claims that while he was renovating parts of the club on Elm Street on Friday, he heard something coming from another room.
Trimmer claims he noticed the DJ booth was on fire when he ran in.
“They did it on purpose. John Wayne Colwell, a co-owner, remarked, “They arrived with gasoline.”
Trimmer claims to have witnessed a stranger filling the club with gasoline.
“He fled after I screamed at him. “I began to pursue him,” Trimmer remarked. “I halted as soon as I realized that wasn’t the best course of action because he might have had a knife, gun, or something. I went back around.
According to Trimmer, the arsonist fled. When Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived, they discovered two distinct flames.
Around five in the morning, they managed to extinguish the fire.
What is unknown to us:
No information about suspects has been made public. Investigators are trying to find the culprit.

Jack’s House Dallas
According to Jack’s House’s owners, they have been trying to expand Dallas’ dance music scene for roughly six years.
The club maintains things local while also bringing in DJs from all over the nation.
“Last year, we booked over 500 local DJ s here in Dallas,” stated Colwell. “We succeeded in creating a fantastic area. People adored this location. Many folks call it home.
According to the proprietors, they have no idea what will happen next.
“We love what we do and we re going to do our best to rebuild,” Trimmer stated. “We love dance music and the dance music community loves us, so we re going to do our best to build back.”
