After DFW Airport led the country in the number of flights that were delayed or cancelled on Sunday, Monday morning is off to a little better start. Future flights will be impacted by the weather in the following ways:
The nation’s largest number of canceled and delayed flights occurred on Sunday at Dallas-Fort Worth-DFW International Airport.
FlightAware reports that over 40 aircraft were delayed as of 10 a.m. Monday.
About 5% of scheduled departures, or more than 20 flights, were canceled.
Seventy of the arriving flights were canceled, and dozens more were delayed. A little more than 100 planes that were supposed to land at DFW failed to do so.
Travelers impacted by the disruptions were interviewed by Paige Ellenberger of FOX 4.
