DallasThe question is if snow will return to the Dallas-Fort Worth area as the cold air is about to enter North Texas. On Saturday night, there’s a risk of light snowflakes, and it will turn cold.
We know:
There won’t be a significant storm, but there will be a significant cold air blast that is likely to peak on January 20th, MLK Day, and Inauguration Day.
We might have trouble rising above freezing on that day.
Forecast: Warming through the week, cold blast comes this weekend
Thursday will see a high of 62 degrees with a light wind, while Tuesday and Wednesday will see a high of 55. This week, Thursday is most likely to be the ideal day to visit the golf course.
It will be 66 degrees on Friday, but there will be strong winds.
Saturday will be chilly, with a high of forty degrees. We only have a 20% chance of seeing any flurries on Saturday night.
The roads and transport would not be significantly affected, even if we did see some snowfall.
The arctic air mass will most likely be at its lowest point on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, and temperatures will drop. By Monday morning, temperatures in some parts of North Texas will be in the teens.
It is predicted that Sunday will have a high of 36 degrees and a low in the mid-20s.
With a high of 33 degrees and a low of roughly 21 degrees on Monday, it will be even cooler.
