Storms and rain are expected to persist until late in the morning, around noon.

Ellis and Navarro County are under a Flash Flood Warning till 1 p.m.
Until 5:00 p.m., Anderson, Freestone, and Limestone County were under a tornado watch.
Up until noon, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch was in effect for a large portion of North Texas. We may apply that to our eastern regions as well.
Forecast
The region east and south of the Metroplex will experience the most storms and rainfall.
In the southeast, there will be an increased risk of wind, hail, and flooding.
East and southeast Texas will see the fiercest storms with the highest chance of severe storms.
Things in North Texas ought to dry off rather rapidly. Showers will move eastward in the afternoon, and there’s a chance that the sun will emerge and the temperature will rise into the 60s.
Early in the evening, a few showers can redevelop.
