On Thursday morning, the wintry mix will begin quite early. Before 6 a.m., we anticipate that the wintry mix will cover a large portion of the Metroplex.
Through Thursday afternoon, that wintry mix will rapidly intensify and spread around noon. We anticipate some snow, sleet, and chilly rain. The majority of that rain would fall in the east and south. You can anticipate more snow the further north you go.
We anticipate that the precipitation will transition to snow on Thursday evening and into Thursday night. We anticipate the greatest amount of snow accumulation at that time.
On Friday morning, the snowfall will stop quite early and move eastward.

The weather will worsen on Thursday night, so you should avoid driving.
We will have to contend with slushy or even snow-covered roads on Friday morning when the snow melts.
