Saturday Forecast: Highs near 60, chance of showers for some
After a cold start to the day, this afternoon will see mid- to high-level clouds and temperatures close to 60.
Most places won’t see low clouds from the Gulf until this evening.
After 3–4 p.m., low clouds may cause an isolated shower in areas southeast of Dallas.
From Saturday evening until Sunday morning, a cold front is expected to move in.
Sunday Forecast: Chilly day, possible light rain
Showers could arrive behind the cold front. On Sunday morning,
Areas east and south of the Metroplex have the best probability.
Until around midday, there may be light rain or drizzle in several areas of our region.
Sunday’s high will occur shortly after midnight, and the temperature will remain cool throughout the day.

7-Day Forecast: Messy week ahead
Timetable:
In the southwestern United States, we will have a storm system cut-off this week and be spinning like a top the entire time.
When you have that, it’s difficult to predict when it will begin to move until that day approaches.
As of the now, Monday appears to be a brief dry spell behind the cold front. The morning will be cold, but there should be enough sunlight for the temperature to rise back into the 50s.
On Tuesday, the front begins to recede. For now, we’ll predict that daytime temperatures will be in the upper 50s, and nighttime temperatures will be above freezing. Showers are probable, particularly in the south and west.
As of right now, it looks like Thursday and Friday will see the most rain and some storm activity.
After the system leaves on Friday, we should enjoy a calm start to February and dry out for a few days.
