Dallas-Fort Worth Weather Forecast
Tuesday
The FOX 4 Weatherteam predicts that Tuesday will be overcast with sporadic showers and highs in the upper 50s.
With the risk of showers increasing to around 30% overnight into Wednesday, Tuesday is still largely dry.
Wednesday
On Wednesday, the likelihood of rain increases.
There is a 70% probability of showers and storms, and the skies will undoubtedly be overcast throughout the day. However, nothing appears to be serious.
The temperature will get close to 60 degrees again.
On Wednesday night and into Thursday morning, the rains will intensify into torrential downpours.
There will be extensive coverage. In many places, the total amount of rainfall might surpass one inch, and in certain portions of North Texas, it could reach two to three inches.
Once more, heavy storms are not anticipated. However, particularly south of the metroplex, there is a chance of some minor hail and wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour.
Thursday & Friday
By Thursday afternoon, the storms should have moved east of the metroplex, although they are still present Thursday morning.
Even after the storms pass, Thursday and Friday will see highs in the mid-60s.
There will be sun and substantially drier air toward the end of Friday.
Weekend
As February gets underway, this weekend will be warmer, windier, and sunnier.
By early next week, highs might reach the seventies.
7-Day Forecast
Goodbye Winter. Hello Spring!
This week and next week will bring a tiny taste of spring to North Texas.
Don’t be deceived, even though the first week of February does not have any cold air predicted. Winter is not yet over.
Overall trends indicate that later this month, the cooler air will return.
However, it’s safe to say that there is little chance of anything very cold coming down because of the nation’s strong west-to-east jet stream.
