DallasAfter a chilly and slick start, Saturday morning will gradually warm up.
Anything that was wet yesterday night has iced over, therefore you must be on the roadways by 10 a.m. Be cautious, particularly when crossing roads and overpasses.
Later today, we do anticipate that the ice and snow will melt.
Saturday Forecast: Cold start, temps climb
We know:
Your Saturday will get off to a very chilly start.
On Saturday morning, areas where snow has melted and refrozen will have spots of ice on the roads.
Luckily, all of the remaining snow and ice will melt because the sun will be out all day.
With a few areas in the 50s, we should have no trouble getting back to the mid to upper 40s!
Sunday Forecast: Another Cold Front
We know:
On Sunday, another cold front with temperatures close to freezing is predicted to pass through North Texas.
Even though there will be more clouds on Sunday, the temperature should still rise into the 40s later in the day.
7-Day Forecast
We know:
On Monday, there will be light winds and temperatures that begin in the 20s and end in the upper 40s.
Temperatures will be quite normal for this time of year for the majority of the remainder of the week.
Depending on the clouds, temperatures could reach the 60s on Friday after rising into the 50s on Thursday.
What is unknown to us:
It’s too early to tell how cold it will be and whether there will be any moisture, but next weekend there will be a pattern shift that pushes arctic air into the country.
