DALLAS—at the event of the cold snap next week, the City of Dallas will open a facility at Fair Park for those who want to escape the cold.

What We Know: The Grand Place Building in Fair Park, located at 3701 Grand Avenue in Dallas, will be temporarily closed due to bad weather.

The refuge will open on Sunday, January 5 and on any other days during the week that fit the requirements.

On Sunday, January 5, the shelter will be open from 3 to 10 p.m.; on subsequent days, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
