DALLAS—A group of suspects in a smash-and-grab at a jewelry store in Far East Dallas are being sought by police.

What We Know: On Sunday afternoon, four individuals were captured on camera damaging jewelry store displays at Joyeria Princesa, a jewelry store inside the El Rancho Supermercado at Gus Thomasson and Ferguson Roads.

The suspects in the video grabbed gold chains and other stuff in less than 30 seconds. One of the stolen chains, according to the store’s owner, was valued at $15,000.

One suspect was not wearing a mask at the time, but the other three were.

According to the store owners, a potential fifth suspect is seen functioning as a lookout in another footage that they chose not to disclose.

Dallas police investigators were provided with a partial photograph of the license plate.

What We Don’t Know: The suspects have not been identified by the police.

It appears that the incidents may be related, the Harris County Sheriff told FOX 4.

What They’re Saying: In order to give his mother, the store’s owner, a break, Angel Cuenca worked at the establishment on Sunday afternoon.

“It all happened so quickly, in 30 seconds, I didn t have a chance to react how I wanted to,” Cuenca recounted. “Luckily everyone is okay, but it’s sickening the trauma my family had to endure yesterday.”

According to Cuenca, his mother has put forth a lot of effort to make the business successful since opening it in 2010.

“It’s regrettable that someone who puts in 80 hours a week would have that taken away. It helped me get through SMU and Texas Tech,” Cuenca remarked.
