DallasU.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced Ionel Cirpaci’s expulsion from the United States on Monday. He is a 61-year-old Romanian national who was wanted for human trafficking in his native country.

According to ICE, Cirpaci was safely transferred into the custody of Romanian authorities on a commercial flight on January 30.
On June 7, 2024, an immigration judge in Sterling, Virginia, issued an order for Cirpaci’s definitive departure from the United States.
