For the past few months, a Coppell family claims they have been the target of ongoing harassment. Police are now becoming involved in incidents of vandalism and ding-dong ditching.

COPPELL, TexasA family claims they were harassed for several months, and Coppell police are looking into the matter.

Coppell family says they are being harassed by juveniles

According to the Varghese family, incident began when some teenagers rang their Lakes of Coppell home’s doorbell and fled.

The family claims that since November, the occurrences have persisted and become increasingly severe.

A portion of their door was recently busted in.

According to Shyni Varghese, the suspects threw a hard drink at their front door, shattering the glass.



Home security cameras have captured the incidents.

It’s frightening every time it occurs. My spouse, two daughters, and my husband’s elderly mother—who is over 85 years old—don’t know. We are really stressed and afraid of it,” Shyni Varghese remarked.

Some neighbors shared similar stories on social media.

“Avoid doing this. Don’t damage other people’s property. It’s not a game. “It’s not a joke,” Varghese declared. “We don’t feel safe anymore because of these incidents.”
