Buc-ee’s sues Super Fuels over logo
Super Fuels’ emblem, according to a lawsuit filed by Bucee’s in the US District Court, is too similar to the Bucee’s Beaver.

The Super Fuels logo, according to Buc-ees’ lawsuit, prominently displays a “anthropomorphic and cartoon representation of a smiling animal that closely resembles a beaver, which is similarly positioned in a right-facing angle and is depicted in front of a circular background.”
The complaint also mentions the identical colors and expression.
According to Buc-ee’s, the logos may cause confusion for consumers, which has resulted in a decline in sales.
A permanent injunction prohibiting Super Fuels from using the dog logo, payment to Buc-ee’s for any “ill-gotten gains,” and the destruction of all signs, packages, and other materials bearing the emblem are all part of the lawsuit.
Super Fuels has one store in Irving and two in Dallas.
