Breaking News: Idaho Police Investigate Early Morning Hit-and-Run Incident

Idaho State Police are asking for the public’s assistance following a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian near the Idaho/Wyoming border. Early in the morning on Friday, June 28, a pedestrian was hit on US Highway 26 close to the Wyoming state line.

The incident occurred between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. According to reports, the pedestrian was struck when an unidentified vehicle traveling eastbound swerved to avoid a pickup truck. Unfortunately, the unknown vehicle veered to the right, colliding with the pedestrian before leaving the scene.

Fortunately, the impact was minor, and there is a possibility that the driver was unaware of hitting anyone. Authorities are urging anyone who was in the area during the specified time and date and may have witnessed the incident or has any relevant information to come forward.
