DallasCharges have been brought against a suspected intoxicated driver in relation to an incident in Dallas that claimed the life of a passenger.
What we know: According to Dallas Police, at approximately 2:45 a.m., a driver lost control of the vehicle and caused a collision while driving east on Northwest Highway, close to White Rock Lake.
One of the passengers in the car, Sara Gonzalez, 23, was declared dead at the spot.
Due to minor injuries, the driver, Alyssa Rodriguez, 23, was sent to the hospital.
Rodriguez will face charges of drunken manslaughter, according to the police.
