Rowlett, TexasAt least six auto burglaries occurred over the weekend, and the Rowlett Police Department needs assistance identifying the offender.

According to the police, since late December, burglaries have been occurring in Rowlett’s northwest areas.

They had paused for a while. At least six cases were then reported on Trumpet Drive, Sumac Lane, Larkspur Lane, and Locust Street during the course of the weekend.

“The suspect moves systematically and lingers in areas without hurrying, giving the impression that they are very at ease and familiar with the area. On social media, Rowlett Police stated, “He has repeatedly targeted areas north of Lakeview Parkway, suggesting he may live nearby.”



The suspect, according to the police, is a black male with light skin who stands between 5′ 9″ and 5′ 11″. He often wears all black, has bushy eyebrows, and an average frame.

He was wearing a black face mask, a navy Nike hoodie, black slip-on shoes, and black track pants with a reflective patch on the knee when the most recent break-ins occurred.

A 17-year-old who has been causing trouble for his neighbors in the Rowlett neighborhood has been arrested for several auto burglaries.
