DALLAS—Dallas-Fort Worth has never seen a hotter February 3.
By 4 p.m. on Monday, temperatures had reached 84 degrees, setting a new record for this day.
The first record was set in 1911, 114 years ago.

Wednesday and Thursday
While temperatures remain in the low 80s, a jet stream passing over the central United States will cause temperatures to drop. Winds should be steady through the middle of the week.
Super Bowl Weekend Forecast Dallas
Before the weather turns, Friday and Saturday will see another run of record highs. On Saturday night, there may be a few showers, and on Sunday, the temperature will drop into the mid-50s.
