PROSPER, TexasRogers Middle School in ProsperISD had a power outage Wednesday morning, and officials say it won’t be restored until after the school day is over.

According to CoServ, the ideal time to restore electricity is after the school day is over.
The building is comfortable and safe for all employees and students.
The temperature is stable and there is water accessible.Students who stay in the building will be given a sack lunch.
If at all feasible, parents have been urged to pick up their children. To help with traffic and dismissal, more district staff and police officers are present on campus.
Students will be cared for and returned home via their regular means of transportation if parents are unable to pick them up.
Staff from Rogers Middle School will keep an eye on all surviving pupils until the regular dismissing hour.
