Rowlett, TexasFollowing the shooting of a pregnant lady in an apartment complex on Wednesday, Rowlett police have ceased their search for suspects.

The backstory

Around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, police were summoned to the Harmony Luxury Apartments, which are located close to Merritt Road and the President George Bush Turnpike. They discovered a pregnant woman who had been shot there.

Officers were purportedly informed by the woman that two males posing as maintenance personnel had knocked on her apartment door.

She claimed that after allowing them entry to her master bedroom and letting them inside, she turned to lock her dog on the balcony.

Police stated that the woman’s and her child’s conditions are stable but did not disclose them.

According to the woman, one of the males shot her in the shoulder when she got back.

She described the suspected suspects in great detail to the police, but they allegedly ran away.
