LEWISVILLE, Texas—A 24-year-old male was taken into custody by Lewisville police in relation to a fatal stabbing that occurred at a birthday celebration.

We know:
Shortly after 5 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, police were alerted to a complaint of gunfire at an apartment building on Uecker Drive.
Officers discovered a 28-year-old victim who had been stabbed when they got to the site. After being brought to a nearby hospital, the victim passed away.
The victim was determined to be Randrik Prieto Rubio of Utah by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
The 24-year-old Roger Jesus Herrera Rodriguez was taken into custody and accused of murder.
