We know:
Around 10 p.m. on Sunday, Fort Worth police reported that two individuals had fired rounds outside the El Chingon Bar on Bledsoe Street, which sparked the pursuit.
As the suspects attempted to escape, officers who were off-duty at the bar confronted them.
According to the police, the suspects shot the officers who were not on duty, but they did not shoot back.
Fortunately, neither police nor bar patrols were struck. Nobody was harmed.
What is unknown to us:
It is still unknown why the first shooting occurred.

One suspect was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital. According to the police, during their battle for the pistol, the other suspect shot him in the arm.
After suffering injuries during the deployment of spike strips, another officer received medical attention at the hospital.
