Firefighters have put out two separate fires at the same vacant warehouse in Fort Worth in less than two weeks.

Texas’s Fort WorthEarly on Saturday morning, the Fort Worth Fire Department was alerted to a fire at an abandoned warehouse located just outside of Downtown Fort Worth on the 700 block of North Main Street. There have been two reports of fires at the facility in less than two weeks.

We know:
When rescuers got on the scene just before 5:30 a.m., they discovered that the first and second floors of the empty building were heavily engulfed in fire.
Despite its size, officials claim the fire was only one alarm.
The fire was successfully contained to the empty warehouse by firefighters.
In less than an hour, it was under control.
No injuries were recorded.

We know:
Around 2:20 a.m. on December 30, 2024, Fort Worth Fire reports that they received complaints regarding a business structure that was on fire in the same warehouse, with two persons inside.
After responders cleared the structure of any potential victims, the fire was deemed a two-alarm fire.
The fire took roughly seventy-five minutes to contain.
No firefighters were hurt, although one individual received treatment for smoke inhalation.
What is unknown to us:
Both fires’ causes are still being looked into.
